      Historic Latta Plantation is a circa 1800 cotton plantation and living history farm, located within Latta Plantation Nature Preserve.  Tours of the Latta home are guided, and tours of the grounds are self-guided.

Pan for Gold 

July 19, August 2, August 16

(10am-4pm)

Learn about Charlotte's rich gold mining history and pan for gold at the miner's cabin!  Hourly house tours available throughout the day as well.  Regular admission applies: $6 for adults $5 for seniors (62+) and students, ages 5 and under are free.
