All Hallows Eve October 18, 2014 (10am-2pm)
Frankenstein, Dracula, Goblins and more! Learn about the history of Halloween and meet some of its famous characters throughout history. Children can trick or treat around the plantation, participate in costume contests, make crafts, and enjoy countless activities. ($8 for adults, $7 for seniors, $6 for students, ages 5 and under FREE).
Upstairs of the house will be closed during the Halloween event, all hourly house tours will resume beginning at 3:00.

Ghost Walk October 24-25, 2014 (7-10pm)
Travel through the Plantation at night as you venture past an explosive Civil War battlefield, survive a soldiers cemetery, escape a ghostly prison camp and enjoy being frightened all in the spirit of Halloween. This Haunted-Trail type of attraction is not for young children, admission is $10 per person.

Folk Life Festival November 8-9, 2014 (10am-4pm)
Join us for a true family fun event featuring entertainment by Southern Express. The festival features an array of arts and crafts vendors selling everything from jewelry to pottery. Local food and beverage vendors will be on site serving up everything from BBQ to funnel cakes and even local beer. Children will enjoy storytelling, crafts, games, and face painting. ($8 for adults, $7 for seniors, $6 for students, ages 5 and under FREE)

Civil War Soldier for a Day November 22, 2014
Boys and girls ages 8 to 12 can become a Civil War Soldier for a Day! Campers will learn about soldier life during the war, practice drills, and battle it out across the plantation. Equipment loaned to campers for the day, but they will each receive a kepi (hat) to keep. The cost is $40 per camper. Pre-registration is required.

Plantation Christmas November 28-29, 2014 (10am-4pm)
Experience a Colonial Christmas as you walk through the cotton plantation. See period Christmas decor, meet Father Christmas, see Christmas baking in the kitchen, and learn about period Christmas traditions. Admission is $8 for adults, $6 for seniors and students, ages 5 and under free.10am-4pm

Candlelight Christmas December 6, 2014 (6-9pm)
Step back in time to a Latta family Christmas as you tour the plantation by candlelight. Visitors will meet the Latta family and see them celebrate the holiday through dancing, music, and storytelling. Visitors will also have the opportunity to see cooking in the kitchen and visit a Live Nativity starring the Latta farm animals. Admission is $8 Adults, $7 Seniors & Students, ages 5 and under free.
